Safe & Healthy Housing Improves

Public Safety, Community Health, & the Local Economy
Improving the quality of housing in Joplin will strengthen our entire city.

Today, Joplin has too many substandard housing units and that is hurting our whole community.

The Good News:  Joplin has existing ordinances that can improve our neighborhoods and the living conditions of the people of our city.

We believe it's time to improve the quality of our housing by:

  • Enforcing existing business license fees for owners of residential rental property.
  • Enforcing existing property maintenance and safety codes.

YES! I believe it's time to improve the quality of our housing!
